Where can we train together? My clients are able to use the fantastic facilities at The Gym Group, located at 20-28 Queen Street, Colchester, Essex, CO1 2PJ. If the gym isn’t for you I can train you at Abbey Fields Colchester using my truck full of equipment and your home locally! What type of personal training do you offer? Whether your goal is to get fit, lose weight, build muscle, train for a specific event, tackle mental and/or physical health issues or simply to get the most from your fitness regime, then you’ve come to the right place. Your bespoke training schedule will be designed to work in conjunction with your lifestyle, making positive changes to benefit your long-term health and fitness. It’s important to understand that PT’s can offer very different services. At Stabilis Fitness I remain focused on a holistic approach to mental and physical well being, making lifestyle adjustments to help my clients reach their targets and enjoy ongoing benefits.
How much does it cost? It depends how much you value the service. People are happy to spend hundreds of pounds on their hair or on a night out but feel it would be selfish to hire a personal fitness coach. I believe we are important and if we need to fine tune our bodies, then let’s do that. It would be unprofessional of me to supply a one fits all package therefore a consultation is required to discuss your goals to allow me to advise you on your journey. I cater for all budgets allowing you to get exactly what you want. Who do you train? I am confident in changing your life and have been fortunate enough to have studied areas in regards to the human body and advanced training techniques. Every new client receives thorough assessment covering physical health, posture, fitness levels, mental health and nutrition. How do I get started?

The consultation will last as long as it takes but generally between 30-45 mins.
I will give you the chance to meet me, with no obligation, to discuss your targets and to see if what I offer meets your needs.
Then, if we both feel we can work together you can book your assessment.
Why is training with you different to other coaches?

How many sessions do I book?
How many you book is totally up to you: once a week, or as much as four times per week.
Frequency depends on your needs, how much you feel you can exercise alone and what you can afford.
Many of my clients start with 2-3 a week with me then later on when confidence has built up they can reduce their sessions with me.
However with my unique Stabilis Fitness app you can follow your programmes anywhere in the world keeping you motivated throughout.
What will my first session be like?
Your first session will be used to assess your body statistics and current level of fitness; this data will be analysed and combined with information on your targets, time constraints, previous experience etc. This enables me to set the types of exercises and intensity of your first training programme.
This information will also be used to monitor your progress throughout your time with me, so you can see exactly how much improvement you have made.
What do I wear?
Sturdy trainers with good sole cushioning and ankle support (not fashion trainers!).
If we will be working inside, make sure you have a clean pair of trainers ready.
Shorts / Tracksuit bottoms
Sweatshirt if it's cold
Why do I feel slight pain in my muscles a couple of days after my session?
Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness (DOMS)
Any type of activity that places unaccustomed loads on muscle may lead to delayed onset muscle soreness (DOMS). This type of soreness is different from acute soreness, which is pain that develops during the actual activity. Delayed soreness typically begins to develop 12-24 hours after the exercise has been performed and may produce the greatest pain between 24-72 hours after your training session.
What happens after my first session?
You will receive a number of emails including a setup link for the Stabilis Fitness App and Recipe Website. I will create your first programme, on the Stabilis Fitness App, which will be continually modified over the coming weeks and months to ensure you continue to progress. Each week will will meet for check ins and coaching.
Every Stabilis Fitness client receives education on nutrition for their goals. Each client will receive recipe books each month with calorie and macronutrient breakdown as well as ingredients and method of prep and cooking. Recipe books also have the My fitness pal barcodes to keep track of your caloric intake daily. Trust me on this, you will not need to be on a restrictive diet. I have clients who have lost 16 pounds of body fat in a month compared to a year on other programs.
